Summary
Everyone is gone, Everybody... Why? Why did this happen?, what could possibly justify this? Kel thinks of what could have been, and his heart hurts, it hurts so much. His mind is unable to bear so much suffering so he takes an easy but mostly desperate way out.
But like a cactus, Kel is quite resilient and even in the worst circumstances he refuses to die.

Summary
The door opened with a creak. Aubrey's hand searched around in the dark for a light switch, and when found, she flipped it on.
It was just flowers.
And all of them were dead.
OR- bad ending AU years into the future where aubrey is trying to repair relationships with everyone and basil is just trying to survive. Both are trying to move on in a healthy way.
