"If everything is caused by fate, then God must be incredibly unfair and cruel"
“Fate” is a concept most people don’t like to think about. They despair at the idea that there exists some mystical force ordering the universe that dictates who succeeds and who fails in life, or that people die young simply because it was meant to be.
However, in a world where people are born with quirks, it is possible for people to be born with quirks that can surpass the limits of fate. For example, they can give a quirk to a person who was supposed to be quirkless, or maybe they can bring someone who was meant to die back to life.
People with these quirks can make what was previously impossible possible, and are referred to as “Children of Fate”. The only problem is that fate isn't kind to these Children who break the natural order.
That being said... this won't stop Izuku, the newly made Prince of the Crystal and owner of the Penguindrum, from becoming not just a hero, but a hero who can change fate.

Summary
Quirks. Superpowers that most anyone holds nowadays. Quirks can range from anything from running a millisecond faster to the strength to change the weather with just one punch from the wind pressure it generates. Quirks are everything. Quirks define who you are. Every child is elated to discover their quirk and find out who they truly are. This happens around the ripe age of four years old. Some are natural-born heroes. Others are perfect for other occupations such as baking or being an artist. With such a high hope for the future that a quirk brings, one would think they would be happy to discover theirs and reveal just how useful they can be.
But…
What happens when your quirk dictates you as nothing more than a doll to be used by others?Izuku Midoriya found out four-years-old that not all people are created equally.
He found out when he drew the short end of the stick of luck and ended up with a quirk worse than quirklessness.
He's dealt with it long enough.Now it's time for Izuku to take hold of his own strings and stop letting others control his life. He won't be a doll forever.

“Ma’am, I don’t feel any different. Does that mean I’m Beta?” Midoriya turned around to face the nurse, a quizzical look in his eyes.
“Y-You… You-” The nurse stuttered dropping the syringe, a shocked look in her eyes.
“Ma’am? Are you ok?” Izuku asked nervously, shifting a bit in his seat. Reaching out to steady her, the nurse’s eyes snapped down to his hands, shocked.
“He touched me… an angel…” With those words, the nurse fainted.
And Midoriya, of course, burst out into tears.
