Sasuke felt like a completely different man. Walking through the streets of Konoha, heading back home, as if he was some kind of teenager who had spent the night away without telling anything to their parents. Actually he didn’t know if it was supposed to feel like this, but with how giddy he felt, he could only imagine. It was about two years after leaving the leaf village. Sasuke received a letter that was definitely from Naruto. The envelope was customized with silly orange stickers and Sasuke couldn’t help but chuckle at the childish behavior. Usually, his eagle would only get letters from Kakashi, as they exchanged regularly on the information Sasuke was gathering. After all, Kakashi was Hokage now. It still sounded strange, though.
Sasuke opened the envelope carefully, not wanting to rip it apart. He would never admit it but he wanted to keep the envelope with the silly stickers. What he didn’t expect was the card that was inside. A pure white card, with tiny ribbons and a little bit of glitter. A wedding invitation. Naruto was getting married.
That was not possible.
