Summary
Slowly, they both relaxed into each other, Eve’s chin on Gil’s shoulder and Gil burying his face in the crook of his neck.
That calmed Eve, and he finally had the presence of mind to ask: “Is this okay?”
“I don’t see why it wouldn’t be.” Gil replied simply.
That was exactly the response Eve was expecting - dry and matter-of-factly - and he couldn’t help smiling, realizing how well he had come to know Gil by now. “No, but does it bother you?”
“If it did, I would have already let go of you.” Gil once more destroyed him with facts and logic.
Eve laughed and asked, quietly now: “Okay, but… do you like it?”
He felt Gil draw in a breath. “…Yes.”
(Aka when Eve first moved in, he never thought Gil would drink his blood as early as he did - or at all, for that matter. To his credit, Gil hadn't planned on it either. As the two grow closer, one thing leads to another, leaving Eve light-headed, Gil sated and both with very strong feelings about the incident… but are they on the same page when it comes to the exact nature of those feelings?)
