Detour from Fated, where I explore the power of an ascended Astarion and how his relationship with Tav would look like post-game.
This version of AA is entitled and manipulative and he will do whatever he wants.
And Tav is conflicted between being nice, letting him get his way, working through the compulsion he uses on her.
The plot is a complete power imbalance in a relationship, with extra layers of fun complications.-
"On your hands and knees, little love."What? How was I supposed to do that? He must have seen my thoughts on my face because the next thing I knew I was face down on the bed, my bare ass up high as I was placed over his knees. Fuck. I tried to struggle against it, but in another swift motion I felt the lock on my arms behind my back and my legs were held firmly by one of his.
It was humiliating, I struggled, and I heard him chuckle at my useless attempt."Now, do you know why you're being punished?"
For being an idiot and falling in love with you? For not agreeing with you? For being an idiot and agreeing to become a spawn even though I didn't think about what that might imply? I writhed against him again even though I knew it was a pathetic attempt.

Summary
While questing with you (Tav) and the others to find a solution to the tadpoles, Astarion fights the dreaded concept of developing *feelings* for someone. All while that someone pushes to show him he's not the slave he once was. A shield of sarcasm and well-crafted seduction clashes with stubbornness and determination, and something's gotta give. But will it come at a price?
Warning: Contains spoilers for Baldur's Gate 3, dialogue spoilers, in-game spoilers.
This story starts during the first sex scene with Astarion, in this case it happens before the Grove party because it happened early for me in game. Please take accuracy of game events with a grain of salt as I'm still only in Act 1 because the game keeps crashing my computer *sobs*. Anyway, this got into my head because the look Astarion gives you when you say you want to lose yourself in him breaks my heart, and makes me wish there was an extra option. Welp, here's an extra option lol.
Update: I have finally finished my first playthrough... but still keep that grain of salt because my memory is crap LOL
