Summary
One of the most important things to Taichi Nanao was being popular. It wasn't because he wanted to become rich like Azuma or to be surrounded by celebrities like Tenma. No, Taichi wanted to be popular because in his mind, if he was popular he would have never fallen out of favor from his childhood friend because being forgotten was a worse fate than death. Yet, as Taichi starts fulfilling his promise to help Yuki Rurikawa with the Mankai Company costumes, he learns that the need to be loved by him is more deep rooted than he expected.

Miya absolutely hated it and he wasn't going to let them rub off on him.
Miya Chinen was not a fucking idiot.

When that happens Muku learns from Itaru, you can always fall back on video games and friends to get you through it. There are days you are a prince and days you just have to pretend to be one.
You don't have to read "The Smell of Bellflower" since nothing really happens in it, but the events are in the same universe.
