“Our pup is fine, my love,” Yunho insists, pointedly arching into the gentle touch. “Strong and healthy.”
Mingi's thumb strokes gently, instinctively, drawing soft patterns over the curve of the deer’s belly.
Yunho's breath catches in his throat.
There it is again, that tenderness that makes his chest tighten.
“You're too worried,” he sighs.
“And you're being reckless, baby fawn,” Mingi mumbles.
“No, I’m needy,” counters Yunho with a petulant whine.
OR: Three months into his pregnancy, Yunho is going crazy without the intimate touch of his mate. Mingi is cautious and careful, but after three full moons of restraint, neither deer nor wolf can ignore the carnal pull of instinct any longer.

Summary
For as long as anyone could remember, Song Mingi and Jeong Yunho had always existed side by side. Their mothers were best friends before they were even born, their homes stood only a few steps apart, and their lives became so intertwined that nobody in their families could imagine one without the other. Everyone believed that someday the two boys would naturally fall in love and end up together.
Everyone except Yunho himself.
While Mingi quietly carried years of feelings he never confessed, Yunho remained painfully oblivious, believing their closeness was nothing more than friendship. When summer break brings them back to their hometown after another exhausting year at university, their families begin to realize something horrifying.

There wasn’t much of a uniform other than wearing a red top of some sort, so he could cover his figure with a red sweater or a baggy cardigan. He kept his hair soft and fluffy. Unintimidating. Not that Jongho disliked his sturdy build, it’s just… it gave people the wrong impression."
