Beatrix turns out to be knocked up... now Dane is the one who's not so sure he wants to be a dad anymore...Chapter 2 in the works, I'm not sure if and when that will find it's way here.

Summary
This series of short stories starts at the end of Bloodmarked, when Erebus brings Sel to Natasia, and is told entirely from Natasia's POV. The story takes place at various points during the curing of Sel's demonia. The main focus is on how Natasia manages to cure Sel and how they navigate their reunion while Natasia tries to figure what's been going on since Faye's death. TW: anger, abandonment issues, angst between a mother and her son, sadness, grief, horror, loneliness, demonic possession

Summary
I know they are barely in the books, but I'm captivated by the relationship between Bree's and Sel's mothers. They never find out the ancestral "why" of how they are drawn to each other in the 26+ years they are in each others lives, but in the end it doesn't matter really, does it?
This fic will tell their story in flashbacks/forwards, from an undergrad meet cute and first sapphic love to fighting hellbeasts alongside each other; from Natasia's imprisonment, her escape, to how they both stay off the Order's radar until their kids draw (one of) them back in. The "present day" of the story will go from Faye's death until Sel is returned to Natasia by the SK at the end of Bloodmarked-- or in other words the six months that encompass the timeframe of Legendborn and Bloodmarked.
As a gen x lover of ya fiction, I'm having fun with rediscovering some nineties jamz (and some deep cuts lol) to share with each chapter! I hope you enjoy.
Will add tags as I go, but I'm not planning to make this more explicit or violent than is canon-typical.
Will be updating slowly! This is a big project for me and it's gonna take awhile.
