Summary
Finding your friends attractive is normal. He hasn’t had a real relationship in years and Wade is the closest one to him, it’s only expected that something like this would happen eventually. A little friend-crush is normal.
As he spits the toothpaste down the drain, his mind wanders again.
But do I like him? I mean, he’s annoying and missing a screw or two but he’s also one of the best people I know.
Peter recalls all the times Wade had been there for Peter when he would be having a particularly bad day or even bad weeks. He always helped him and asked for nothing in return. Even now, Peter is staying at his house because Wade was worried about him. He looks down at the oversized Regina, Saskatchewan sweatshirt and the infamous Hello Kitty pajamas.
Peter’s heart speeds up again when he realizes he might have a capital-C Crush on his best friend. Peter sighs. I really am the dumbest person ever in life.
Or: Peter has been having wet dreams about Wade and now he can’t stop drooling over him.

Summary
“Show me how you do it,” the two are seated across from each other on Wade’s egregiously huge bed when Wade asks Peter to imitate the movement.
“DP, this is childish,” Peter says unamused.
“C’mon, it’s not like it’s the real thing!” Wade is loving every second of this interaction. Peter is sitting on top of one of Wade's poor (read: extremely lucky) pillows.
“Yeah, I know, which is why it’s childish,” Peter looks at him with another wave of annoyance, “and it doesn’t matter anyway! I’m just bad at it, it’s fine”.
Or: Peter is convinced that riding isn’t all that it’s cracked up to be and Wade proves him wrong.

Peter Parker isn't okay, but he doesn't pretend to be. The evolution of Peter's friendships with Matt and Weasel make it better, but he's barely making ends meet and past trauma keeps coming back when it's least convenient. And then there's Wade, who has everything Peter needs and a big dick to seal the deal.
This is a brief look into Peter's life that I hope to delve more into throughout the creation of the collection! If it feels a bit incomplete, that's because this is just a taste of all the fun to come ;)
