Maka makes it look easy to traipse through other people's souls, she practically has a passport with how often she's running around inside Soul's black room and Crona's beach, surely they can pull it off to help her, right?

Summary
Zanka is tasked with keeping Jabber from running too wild in his new position with the cleaners. Jabber is a ball of excess manic energy. Daily fights are a little unsustainable when there are trash beasts to be defeated on a moment’s notice.
And since their relationship has been evolving, it's a no brainer. Jabber is a masochist. Zanka has a dominant streak. Easy peasy. It shouldn’t be too different from all the times before.
Except, as usual, Zanka is a fucking wild card. Sex never felt hazy or vulnerable like this with any of the strangers that make up Jabber’s sexual history. Jabber is used to pain, but treated with roughness and care in equal measure is new and very disarming.

Enjin raked a hand through his hair hard enough to disturb the careful lines of it, boots striking the corridor floor in quick, directionless beats. He wasn't sure where he would go, maybe outside, maybe on a loooong walk out into No Mans Land and then just keep going.
“Why the fuck would it have been Follo?”

Enjin catches Zanka with his midnight visitor and realizes that this isn't something he parent his way out of. The heart wants what the heart wants and he knows that better than anyone. Technically a chapter 4 to Under His Hand that I preferred as a stand alone.
