Summary
Tim isn’t stupid enough to let Batman in on his identity, nor is he stupid enough to stick around when the second Robin returns to take his old position back – when he clearly isn’t wanted anymore.
Of course, Tim also isn’t stupid enough to step back entirely and quit being a vigilante, not when he’s still got skills to contribute. Just because he can’t help as Robin anymore doesn’t mean he can’t help at all. He might even be more effective when he doesn’t have to play by anyone’s rules but his own.

Summary
Most overlook the batcomputer and its unique standing amongst Batman's other tools in his campaign against crime. Despite his rampant (and often ostensible) dislike of anything Super, Bruce managed to miss just how super his computer is. With 16 terabytes of immaculately cataloged and sorted documents, crime scene photos, mission directories, comm logs, and more, the Batcomputer amounts to the Great Library of Alexandria (or of the Batcave, moreso)
Therefore, the question must be begged as to how, the fuck, among 1.04 million document pages did Jason manage to stumble on the one little folder tucked away labeled “Joker_Jr_12/12” with a single report and 10 images?
OR:
Tim, Bruce, and Barbra completely covered up anything related to Joker Junior and believed the file detailing the incident to have been lost in the batcomputer’s expansive catalog. Unfortunately for Tim, however, it’s not as buried as they’d thought.
And like the title says, two birds and a mentally deranged clown walk into a bar…

Summary
Jason doesn’t know what he expects to find in Gotham at two in the morning– but Tim Drake drinking in one of the most seedy bars in the Crime Alley certainly isn’t one of them.
He heads into the run-down joint, looking for one of his contacts, when he spots the black-haired teen slumped over the bar, head hung low with three empty glasses around him.
A fourth half-empty glass is being nursed in his hands.
There’s a familiar shift from shock into anger that has him stomping over and grabbing the drink (whiskey on the rocks- what the hell) from his hands. The sixteen year old blinks languidly at the empty space between his fingers as if he hasn’t quite processed that his glass is gone.
----
Or, after having Robin stripped from him- Tim is coping.
Jason decides to take matters into his own hands.

“Aw, the Replacement’s emotional. Thought you got rid of me, didn’t ya? That you could take the shiny prize, cuckoo.” Hood–Jason?–spat the last word, getting right up in Tim’s face. A hand on his chest jostled the cracked and broken ribs, and Tim groaned.
Pain didn’t stifle the–he was hallucinating. It was so obvious. Hood had hit him over the head and maybe drugged him while he was disoriented, and Tim’s insomnia had been working him over the past few days, and now he was hallucinating his hero beating the shit out of him instead of Hood. At least it was Jason.
Jason could hurt him if he wanted to, as long as he was alive.
He wasn’t, and Tim knew that, but he could pretend.
“Oh,” Tim breathed, smiling dopily. “I’m glad you’re here, Jason. Sorry you died.”
Tim gets hurt. He's not sure who's doing it.
