While the two of them walked through the halls that had gotten a little lighter and noisier as the students started slowly filtering in for school, Dennis actually got a second to really look at Robinavitch. Looking as his crows feet got deeper when he smiled and greeted students stood by their locker. Looking at how he raised his eyebrows at a student that was talking to a classmate, very obviously awkward and flustered, probably the kid’s crush. Looking at how Robinavitch seemed well respected and liked by basically everyone. How he walked comfortably in such a familiar space, how he greeted the school nurse like old friends that probably knew a little too much about each other, how when he smiled even just a little it made his face beam, how his shoulders moved as he walked, how he-

Dennis Whitaker is the new english teacher at Pittsburgh's Public High School, usually just called ''The Pitt'' where he can't help but find the principal a bit too attractive, and he feels guilty for being enamored by a man. He just wants to be the teacher he wish he had when he was in school.
