Stiles doesn't really know how he gets himself into these things. His plans have always been great, no matter what Scott thinks - it's just that sometimes there are consequences. Little things, like his dad thinking that Stiles has a boyfriend with a daughter that he's been seeing for over a year. That should have been fine, since Stiles has been in Virginia for FBI training. It's not like the Sheriff would ever know. Unless, of course, Stiles was stupid enough to promise to have them visit for Thanksgiving.
At least he'd come a week early and said his boyfriend wouldn't show up until a day before Thanksgiving - it gave him room to plan and panic.
Peter was honestly just shopping with his daughter for books. It's not his fault he finds Stiles both amusing and attractive.

Bros can not abandon their bros when turned into mythical creatures. Stiles immediately changed Scott to Bro-Wolfenstein on his phone and found a semi-recognizable remix of “I was a teenage werewolf” that makes all four Hales roll their eyes.
Being the human in the group meant Stiles finding creative ways to help the remaining Hale pack (plus Scott). So he put his main skill to work: he could find out anything given time and proper motivation. And if that motivation happened to be staring at the wonderful bodies of the werewolves, well, no one but him and his lotion bottle needed to know.
Cora became the annoying younger sister he never wanted but wouldn’t trade for the world. She was programmed into his phone as sister-wolf. She was over just as often as Scott was and soon, his Dad treated her like another Stilinski. At that point, she was assigned the ringtone “sisters of the moon” and made sure it was the part of the song she hated most: when the word moon was dragged out to sound like a howl.
