Numbers. Schedules. Margins. As long she focused on those, everything would be fine. Numbers were logical. Numbers obeyed rules. Summary
In Season 5, Episode 110, Ranma and Nabiki are briefly engaged. There is a scene in that episode when Nabiki and Ranma are sitting in her room and she tells him that the truth is that she has secretly been in love with him for some time. In the end, however, Nabiki's confession and her brief theft of the engagement from Akane turn out to be a prank.
What though if the prank was not a prank, but instead a moment of unguarded weakness?
What if maybe, for one brief moment, Nabiki was telling the truth?
"Kandinsky's Dragon" and related stories is a series inspired loosely by this possibility. The stories take place in a future where Ranma and Nabiki meet again as adults after not seeing each other for many years.

Bookmarker's Notes
Among the most interesting and unique Ranma fics that I've read. The author says they're pretty new to writing, but the style is really smart and sophisticated. Strongly recommend.
