Summary
Shane Hollander and Ilya rozanov grew up together in Boston. Though when time came Shane had to move back to Montreal with his parents and had to leave behind his best friend. Shane doesn’t know who he is without him, and though he hoped they would keep contact, his wish was not fulfilled, and not even one letter was sent to his name.
After five years of no contact, Shane suddenly understands he’s about to meet Ilya rozanov at a party celebrating his girlfriends movie coming out to the theatre’s, and apparently, her characters love interest is Shane’s long lost best friend, and possibly, his first ever true love. Shane has to find a way to deal with the emotions that oh so suddenly got dug up again. Will he succeed? Only time will tell.

Summary
Shane Hollander meets Ilya Rozanov on his twenty-fourth birthday at The Ice Palace, the gay club where Ilya works as a bartender. Shane has never been to a gay club before, and never been with a man before. He's shocked that it's seemingly this easy to pick up a shirtless, Russian bartender, with the most beautiful lips he's ever seen. That was the point of coming to the club, as a test of his homosexuality, but Shane leaves, alone, unsure as to whether he passed or failed.
Ilya passed. He passed Shane a secret birthday message on a cocktail napkin. Shane doesn't know what it says, but he knows it's special. He doesn't know this meeting, that message, and a birthday gift that was already late will change his life either. He'll never spend another birthday alone though. Ilya will make sure of that.

Summary
After Shane's plan to come out to Ilya in Tampa falls through, the pair have a falling out. There is no cottage. Instead, Ilya is forced to wait and see Shane at a charity event being held in New York. Ilya hopes that, after a miserable summer apart, he and Shane can reconcile.
There's just one problem.
