Ray Toro isn’t thrilled when My Chemical Romance starts talking about adding another guitarist. It’s not jealousy or anything. He just wants to know if the guy can actually play the songs right.
Frank is super passionate, and Ray already knows him from Pencey, but hanging out after shows, smoking at the Eyeball house, and joining the band are two very different things.
Then Frank picks up a guitar at the studio.

Summary
Gerard had never been this miserable before. Ever. The pandemic wrecked everything. The publishers put his comic on “pause,” which was just a fancy way of saying they were going to ghost him for months before dumping him like fucking trash.
Now he was an unemployed artist with no money, too much time to think, and the growing fear that he was slowly becoming a fat, lonely nobody with absolutely nothing going for him.
Luckily, Mikey Fucking Way wasn't going to stand idly by and watch his big brother lose his mind.
Which didn't go so well when his untrained emotional support dog ended up jumping on a punk who was less than half a meter tall.
