Summary
The used book shop hadn't been there before. Anthony would have noticed. He generally passed along this street walking to work.
The odd thing was that the place looked like it had been forever. Dirt-spotted windows, a few dusty leather-bound books placed on display as if the owner had deliberately positioned them to keep the titles and spine hard to read. Faded opening hours, hand-written and eligible. Anthony couldn't explain the temptation to mount the stairs and push the door open.
It was locked. The Open sign mocked him. He went home to his sitcoms and gardening shows and houseplants and empty, gleaming flat. The shop was probably just a money-laundering front.
He couldn't explain why it tugged at him.

Summary
After Nope-mageddon, Aziraphale feels more confident and relaxed. He no longer feels like he needs to keep Crowley at arm's length for their own protection. He can finally tell Crowley that he cares about him more than "friendship" can describe.
But he doesn't want there to be any chance for miscommunication. But directly talking about feelings in the past with the demon tended to be uncomfortable, so he would need to be a little subtler than that. Of course, human flirting wouldn't work. They already enjoyed traditional human dating activities together, but only as friends. Aziraphale needed something that Crowley couldn't possibly misunderstand.
Well, perhaps he could research what counted as demonic methods of courting someone. That should be familiar enough for Crowley that he would understand Aziraphale's intentions. What could possibly go wrong?

Summary
There was war in Heaven, once. The First War, The Glorious Revolution,The Fall: it was referred to by a lot of names. After those who questioned God were cast out, most of the angels settled back into a normal routine. For one angel, however, this was not the case. His normal routine was shattered, and he would do anything to get it back. Anything, including letting the very demon that caused his world to shatter into the Garden of Eden and back into his life, even if the demon does not remember anything from before.
