Summary
Dean's life is complicated to say the least and he has issues equally complicated to match, but at least he has Cass (fuck-buddy turned into something more) to keep him grounded in the only way Dean has found works besides alcohol.
However when things start getting rough Dean needs Cass to get a little rougher, bruises and bite marks drawing not only Sam's attention but raising his suspicions as to what has been going on with his brother for the last few months.
Secrets, canceling plans, and half-truths brew the perfect storm of misunderstandings; Dean's heard about praying to the pessimist, but maybe it's time to pray to the masochist instead.
