Summary
August is a thirteen-year-old boy plagued with the typical angst of that age, in addition to the harsh experience of being trans. He finally gets some reprieve when his big sister Lucie comes to visit from college and watch over him for the first part of summer. Lucie is trans as well, and August looks up to her quite a bit.
The two siblings are close, although August’s intentions are innocent while Lucie’s certainly aren’t.
