Tears spilling down her cheeks seeming more determined to escape the more she fought the need. The image of Varric dying in her arms wouldn't go away. The light leaving his eyes, the sound of his wet breathing barely heard over the storm, the dagger in his chest. ‘Take care of the team for me.’ Take care of the team? Take care of the team!? How!? She couldn’t be the voice of reason and calm like her brother, she wasn’t charismatic like Varric, and she was certainly no Fen’Heral that could lie her way through everything. She was just Eralen. She got into fist fights over hurled insults, argued her beliefs loudly, and ran from her problems. There would be no running from this.
