I wanted a story with that theme, so I wrote it.What would happen if a presence watched you for several nights a month? You think it's sleep paralysis, but something doesn't add up, and all you have is your cat and your diary to give voice and meaning to your thoughts, helping you face each exhausting day in a grueling job in a country that doesn't exactly welcome you, with all your loved ones on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.

Muchos años han pasado luego de la segunda guerra mágica pero todos los ministerios parecen estar de acuerdo que aún no es momento de revelarse al mundo.
Esto es un problema con el avance de la tecnología Muggle en pleno 2024 y la disminución de la población mágica.
Si bien luego de la batalla contra Voldemort muchos se resignaron a aceptar a los mestizos o nacidos de Muggles a pesar de que a puertas cerradas no sea realmente aceptado y el orgullo de aquellos que llevan más de tres generaciones de magos es difícil de vencer aún si no son de las veintiocho familias.
Hoy en día un grupo de cuatro amigos que hace pocos años se graduaron de Hogwarts se reúne de nuevo para ponerse al día ahora que todos tienen un trabajo y las noticias de la disminución de la población mágica están en boca de todos, uno de los cuatro trabaja en el ministerio y trae noticias ligeramente escandalosas para compartir en su reencuentro.- Language:

The tall, gangly skeleton found himself in a rather sparce room, reminiscent of an old hospital or perhaps insane asylum. At the far wall was a single, heavy wooden door. Any windows had been fitted with bars. A rickety lantern suspended on a chain on the ceiling provided the only light. Jack was lying in a narrow bed, which creaked with every movement. Although there were plenty of pillows and a warm black and white checkered blanket, so someone had been seeing to his comfort.
However, his usual pinstripe suit was nowhere to be found; instead he'd been dressed in one of those old fashioned hospital gowns that had long, puffy sleeves and ties at the side.
"How-? How... did I get here?"
