joeynihil x AnotherGhoul collaboration! The method? Joey draws me a prompt first, then I write the ficlet from it! These will originally be posted on tumblr with both her art and my writing in one post, but I'll also collect my writing here. Joey's art will be linked in the notes before each ficlet because it's essential viewing.
The content? Each chapter is a new drawing + ficlet combo. Various pairings on a polyghouls base. Various kinks and/or sex acts on a "everyone's a switch" base. Summary
New year, new experiences, and a whole pack of ghouls to satisfy during their heats and ruts again; what more could Swiss ask for! He looks forward to 2022 with unbridled enthusiasm, eager to assist his mates with their cycles and indulge in all the pleasure and sin earth has to offer with the ones he loves. But this year is to be the one where Swiss’ sin of pride is ruthlessly tested and the special, cherished, unique multi ghoul does not fare well. His mates may try to do the right thing for their own sake, for each other’s sakes, for Swiss’ sake even but in the end, everyone fails. One by one, Swiss’ relationships suffer from his bruised ego. When the negative self talk gets too heavy to bear, he copes the only way he knows how: with isolation, resentment and anger. Miscommunications, rejections, mistakes; nobody realizes how hard their actions harm Swiss, while he slowly spirals to the ground until it’s too late.

What starts as a joke about Ifrit’s tits becomes definitely not a joke anymore when the heat is turned all the way up. And when Aether gets creative with some of the tools and toys he’s learned how to use while on tour, well, let’s just say Ifrit gets in touch with his feminine side and then some.

It’s his lack of confidence that’s the issue, his coworkers say, and they give him all sorts of tips, tricks and challenges to help him grow. Including a dare to go spend an evening at the infamous Ghost Strip Club. The ever popular establishment, high-end provider of the most enticing and luxurious sins of the flesh, equally intimidates and fascinates Rain. Beyond the heavy cathedral doors of the club lies a whole world of temptations and pleasures with its own rules, its own codes, its own inhabitants. Rain gets a taste of the peculiar staff of the club in more ways than one, and he also gets a confidence lesson he won’t soon forget. What better way to learn how to be bold than some hands on practice?

October 2022. Mountain very much looks forward to spending his rut in peace this year, up in his secret cabin in the woods. Earth heats and ruts are intense, they can get savage, violent even, and Ghost’s gentle giant of a drummer would prefer it if his bandmates didn’t see him like this. Of course, because things can’t go smoothly when you’re in a band with Dewdrop, the fire ghoul is right there to ruin his plans of calm and quiet. He’s too curious about the earth ghoul’s reputation, because there’s no way their ruts are that bad, right? He pokes the proverbial bear, and gets more than expected in return. Like, way more. Maybe more than he can handle, in fact. And he loves every second of it.

Ghost are back home after a successful tour and Dewdrop has a hard time adjusting to abbey life. He’s bored out of his mind and lonely worst of all. So when Swiss offers to change one of their monotonous band ghoul chores into one of his twisted games, Dew can’t resist. He jumps in the deep end with only Swiss’ delightful sadistic streak to guide him. The multi ghoul takes him down a path of service, devotion, humiliation and desperation Dewdrop won’t soon forget. “These boots are made for walking” the lyrics go, but in this case? These boots are made for worship.

Summary
Dewdrop takes a massive fall off the stage during the final Imperatour show and injures himself way worse than anticipated. Said injury forces him to confront the fragility of his current human body more than ever before since he was summoned, and he does not take it well. Fortunately, as he spirals out of control, Aether is there to catch him and make it right, even if Dewdrop will fight him every step of the way. Because their relationship isn’t like that. Right?

Summary
Dewdrop has an idea for a little skit him and Rain can do on stage to rile up the fans, namely, some good ol’ groping and choking. It goes terribly wrong. And then it goes terribly, terribly right.
“The choking. If you’re gonna do that, you have to do it right.”
Of all the things Dewdrop expected Rain to say? This wasn’t on the radar. This was so far off the damn radar it was in another dimension. Three thoughts flashed in Dewdrop’s brain at once: first, how dare this motherfucker insult his technique; second, how the fuck did Rain of all people know enough about choking techniques to correct anybody; and third, which was the one his brain decided to say out loud:
“What’s the right way then?” -

Summary
Dewdrop snaps a string from rocking too hard, splits his finger open, bleeds all over his guitar, and is more than determined to fix this mess by himself once the show is over.
Swiss does not, in fact, let him fix this by himself. Because the one thing he can resist even less than blood is an occasion to mess with Dew.
