Summary
A tip from a fellow hunter leads Sue Numan, a 22-year old hunter with supernatural empathic abilities, to a small town with an old legend about the dead rising at midnight every hundred years. Since her regular hunting buddy is tied up somewhere else, she decides to call John Winchester, the man who saved her life many years ago, for backup. When the call connects it's not John who answers, but his son Dean.
What begins as a single hunt turns into a long road shared, as Sue joins the brothers in their search for John Winchester and sticks around after he's found. Despite telling herself that she's immune to Dean Winchester's charms at first, she finds herself developing feelings for him over time. But things are never easy when it comes to the Winchesters, especially for a young woman who feels everything they don't talk about.
This is an OC/Dean story that will (eventually) span all fifteen seasons. I’ll be diverging from canon where it makes sense, but I’m doing my best to stay true to the overall storyline. It's a slow burn, so sit back and enjoy the ride.

Owner and proprietor of The Rangeley Lakeview Bed and Breakfast since 1991. A fine, upstanding member of Rangeley society and a fixture at the Church of the Good Shepherd. Apparently, an active and intelligent woman of eighty-five years.

He turned to you fully, then, dropping his boots off of the crossbeam of the chair and standing. “You ever wonder why you an’ I don’t have a relationship like that? I mean, ain’t twins supposed to be creepy-close, makin’ up secret languages together and feelin’ each other’s pain?”
You swallowed hard but stood your ground. “Look, I will be the Tomax to your Xamot and we can develop Winchester Latin if you just come home.”
He wagged his finger at you. “Nah, see, I think there’s something there, y/n. ‘cause I remember we were close when we were young, taking care of Sammy, only havin’ each other to lean on, being Dad’s perfect little soldiers, but you pulled away. I think it was right about the time Sam ran off to Stanford, you went cold.”
