    It's not entirely unexpected when nobody responds to Red Robin's emergency beacon. He knew he was expendable. He stopped being a real part of the family a long time ago. But he'd still hoped. That's why when Batman showed up and promised him that He'd be okay, he believed him. But it doesn't take long to realize that this Batman isn't his. Now, after traveling back with this new Batman, Tim has to learn how to live in a universe that cares.

    TLDR: Tim gets rescued by Bruce from the YJ universe and he isn't used to people caring about his existence.

    This is a TimKon fic but I also have no self control so a lot of background relationships.

Foster care in Gotham isn't exactly safe, but the four of them know what they need to do to survive. First, don't draw attention to yourself. Two, don't bother foster parent because he doesn't care about you. And finally, the four of them are family, which means they stick together. These rules served them well for about four years and they expected nothing to change.

    It's been three months since Bruce came back from the dead; three months since he came home. Replacement did not come home with him.

    Replacement seems to've dropped off the face of the earth.

    Jason, bein an Outlaw, doesn't get what the big deal is. He quite literally drops off the face of the earth all the time. He bets no one's ever this worried about him when he disappears without notice, even though the first time he went swannin off he fuckin died.

    In other, unrelated news, Jason's bein haunted by the ghost of some ol lady's dead parrot. Like goddamn could life get any more ridiculous.
