As they stepped into the elevator, the doors sliding shut with a quiet ding, Phil spoke up casually, like he wasn’t about to drop a bomb. “Trevor said it’s a ladyboy night.”
Dan froze. “Excuse me,” he said slowly, “a what now?”
“Ladyboy night,” Phil repeated, completely unhelpful.
Dan turned to him, face scrunched in exaggerated confusion. Phil sighed, finally elaborating. “It’s when the lads wear dresses. It started as a joke back in uni, but I guess it just kind of… stuck.”
Dan’s eyes widened. “You’re gonna wear a dress?”
“I look the prettiest in a dress, Dan,” Phil shot back without missing a beat.
