This is basically 8k words of smut with enough plot to give a reason for them to get it on. There are some discussions about gender dysphoria, potential kinks, and comfort levels. Pete has not had bottom surgery yet, but all of the words used to describe his body parts are masculine coded.
POV changes back and forth but stays in 3rd Person limited. It is made very obvious who it's centered on!

“Sure, Ted…” There’s a slight pause as Bill both gives Ted a thorough once-over in appreciation, and wonders why this time he asked to be taken care of. Ted typically only wants to bottom when he wants to get out of his head for a little bit - to avoid something he’s not quite ready to think about. “Hey, dude, is everything okay? Something going on I don’t know about?”
Ted’s quiet for longer than he’d usually be, and Bill has to make a conscious effort not to interrupt his train of thought, fully aware of how it takes him a little more time to think of what to say. When he does finally reply, it’s only after he’s tucked his head into Bill’s shoulder and inhaled his scent to calm himself down. Bill can feel the warmth of his breath on his neck when he speaks:
“...I missed you. Wanted someone to take care of me..”
