Summary
After feeling utterly embarrassed and defeated following his date with Sara, Rudeus decides to leave Basherant immediately and head for Sharia. While traveling he comes across Princess Ariel and her guard, who are heading there as well. Rudeus chooses to accompany them and even starts to befriend the mage bodyguard, Fitz. How will things play out now that Rudeus is heading to Sharia much earlier, and has met Fitz a lot sooner?
A Rudeus and Sylphiette fic with separate parts to show the different stages in Rudeus' journey.

Summary
In a world without Rudeus, how do the lives of his three wives pan out? While that is the basic concept for the story, the original prompt was 'what if Roxy and Sylphiette were more than just adventuring partners in other timelines?' I tried to stay loyal to the setting, but some points I may not have fully understood or wanted to play around with how the world may work if things were tweaked slightly. I also tried writing with people who haven't read Mushoku Tensei in mind, though I likely failed in that regard. As the first thing I've written in nearly a decade, I'm sorry if it's not very good. I tried my best and hope people at least enjoy parts of the story.

I'm sure you've all heard of "Watching Him Die Again and Again" by Reactionist (it's quite popular). Imagine that... but with Mushoku Tensei instead of Re:ZERO. As for the less-known "Theater of Learning" by BrotherlyG, this fic will also cover its themes. It's an all-in-one Mushoku Tensei work!
