In the face of the end of the world, the stakes of Mike’s love life seemed impossibly low, even if uncertainty plagued his every waking moment. Holly needed him. Nancy trusted him to help. He was a part of the group’s plan. So why was he so hung up on what Will had said?
Will has given up on love for the time being, the world’s ending, what’s the point?
There is more to life than his unrequited (?) crush.I rewrote the final episode. I would do the whole season (at least volumes 2 and 3) if I had the energy, changing small details, but I won’t.
This isn’t to say that I hated the ending, it was a cinematic masterpiece, I just wanted to change it a bit to suit my tastes while keeping most of the events the same.- Language:

Nico would do anything to find peace after what happened to his sister, even after the perfect opportunity was so rudely taken from him by a devilishly-handsome, but very irritating man.

Summary
AU where Zuko realises early into his banishment that Ozai is an abusive bastard who sent him on a wild goose chase. Iroh turns their decommissioned warship into a floating tea shop, and Zuko settles down as a tea server onboard the Jasmine Dragon.
And then, years later, the Avatar emerges from the iceberg.
And then Aang decides that he wants Zuko, the first good firebender he’s met this century, to be his firebending teacher - even though Zuko wants nothing to do with him.

Summary
Mike's mind often returns to the quarry, to the day he jumped off the cliff's edge expecting to never again see the dawn of day. He remembers the feeling of falling, the deafening sound of the wind as it rushed pass his ears, the sensation of weightlesness as he tumbled through the air, the mirror-like lake surface. Had he screamed? Mike couldn't remember. Prehaps he had, it was such a long time ago.
He wonders what would've happened had El not been there to save him. That's a lie. Mike knows what would've happened, he would've died; bones broken, body floating in the lake below. The police would find his corpse, there would be a funeral, and everyone would eventualy move on with their lives. His family would be sad, so would the Party, but they would heal and, in time, Mike would be forgotten, a distant memory; unable to cause them anymore harm.
