Summary
The thought should scare him, it should make Mike recoil, but instead a rush of sick excitement thrums in his veins. He thinks of Will, belly swollen in his paint stained overalls, walking around barefoot and pregnant and glowing. He would be such a good mom too – he’s always been good with kids, amazing with Holly, has those Omega maternal instincts.
He thinks of a pup with Will’s big hazel eyes reaching up a chubby fist to grab Will’s lop ears, to soothe themselves with chocolate brown fur the way Mike has done himself so many times. He thinks of a permanent softness staying in Will’s hips, a flushed and full chest to feed their child.
Or; Will is about to leave for New York and Mike finds a way to make him stay.

“You should go home,” Louis muses, and Harry can feel the omega crouch down to become eye level with Harry, poking his cheek with a dainty finger. Harry lifts his arm, taking a peek at Louis’ face. Louis looks tired, he notes, but not exhausted, and there’s an eyelash stuck to his cheek. Harry doesn’t hesitate to lazily reach out and thumb over his cheek.
“Can’t,” Harry croaks, blindly twisting his hand around to grab at Louis’ offending finger and just holding it. “C’mere. Take a nap with me,” he asks after a beat, opening an eye to look at Louis.
Louis raises an eyebrow. “M’not going to nap with you in the middle of the ER, H.”
Sighing, Harry squeezes the young nurse’s finger. “Nobody cares.” He knows they do; they’ll annoy nurses and probably worry patients when they catch sight of a nurse and surgeon sleeping on the job. Let alone in the middle of the emergency ward hallway. Harry can hear the complaints now: ‘these are the people we’re supposed to trust with our lives?’

Through the bond, Will felt Mike’s horror. His regret.
Mike hadn’t meant to bite him. His instincts had taken over completely, and now they were bonded—permanently, irreversibly—and Mike looked at Will like he’d just made a terrible mistake.
“Mike—” Will started, but his voice came out wrecked.
“I bit you.” Mike’s voice was hollow. “I didn’t mean to. I swear—”
Will touched his throat, fingers coming away bloody. The bond was there, thrumming between them.
“It’s okay,” Will said, even though nothing about this was okay. “It was the heat—”
“We have to break it,” Mike said.
OR: Will goes into heat while he and Mike are trapped in the Upside Down and they accidentally bond.
