Summary
It's 1 in the morning and Bill Cipher finds a guy with his arm stuck in a vending machine. He's an awkward mess, unlike him, but they do say opposites attract. But maybe they weren't opposites. They could get to know each other. They could be best friends. Maybe something more.
Becoming something more meant knowing more about each other. Traits, interests, favorites and pet peeves...vulnerabilities.
Perhaps knowing too much meant they wouldn't be safe for each other.

Bill didn’t appreciate having his pride trampled on more than it already had been, but he kept himself from saying anything regarding that; he wasn’t going to risk losing the only deal he could make to save Dipper. Instead, he sighed and stepped forward, his hand still out for the demon before him. Amaymon donned a different facial expression for the first time in the presence of Bill Cipher, and he kept that smirk as he shook the blond’s hand. The flames that engulfed their hands overlapped each other.
The deal was sealed.

"That's impossible," Bill said, completely forlorn.
Maybe he was having another nightmare, maybe he was hallucinating; but even if he wasn't, he didn't want to believe it. He couldn't. His grip tightened on the small, wrapped box he was holding behind his back, and tears stung from the corner of his eyes, threatening to fall at any given moment.
Mabel saw the happiness and excitement vanish from Bill's eyes. She noticed his shoulders drop, revealing the gift that he was trying so hard to hide from her. Sighing deeply, she looked at him with the most apologetic look she could manage, knowing how Dipper had really meant a lot to him.
