Summary

Summary
It took a long moment for Charles to notice the pattern. Yet once he’d seen it, had noticed the details of it, it felt so obvious he couldn’t help but feel stupid for not spotting it any sooner. It was crystal clear, in plain sight, right there under his nose.
George Russell came, well-dressed and always on time, at 5 sharp, every week, on Tuesdays.
Somehow, between race schedules, media duties, and specific travel plans, it felt as if life had provided many different ways to keep him from seeing it. This. George Russell, walking through the halls of the building Charles lived in- had lived in, for the past few years.
George Russell, stepping toward Max Verstappen’s door. George Russell, disappearing within his newly moved-in neighbor’s walls.

‘Max drew his sword fully, leveling it between them. The tip pointed directly to his throat. “Drop it.” He warned.
Charles tsked, eying the sword with distaste. “Rude.”
“Drop it, Charles. I swear—”
“Oh, mon capitaine...” His smile stretched, seductive. “Must we do this every time?”’

Summary
Max Verstappen and Charles Leclerc have spent six years loving each other in secret through hotel rooms, late-night texts, jealousy, and the kind of rivalry that only ever existed because neither of them knew how to let go.
Charles is tired of pretending. Tired of going home to someone else while being hopelessly in love with a man who refuses to choose him openly. Max promises he’ll figure it out.
Then Kelly asks Max to marry her.
What follows is a year of heartbreak disguised as rivalry, violent arguments that end in desperate kisses, stolen glances across paddocks, and two men ruining themselves over a love neither of them was brave enough to keep.
Or:
Max chooses the life expected of him, and Charles becomes the one thing he can never stop grieving.

Summary
“Well,” Max said, pushing off the wall and picking up his bags. His voice was calm, completely, unfairly calm. “Looks like you’re mine tonight.”
Charles stared at him, flushing deep. “I would like to formally appeal.”
Max’s mouth twitched. “That sounds a bit melodramatic.”
Charles narrowed his eyes. “Everything about you is exhausting.”
Max adjusted the strap on his shoulder. “And yet,” he added grinning, “you’re still coming upstairs.”or
Miami Grand Prix. A hotel mix-up. And of course, Charles has to share a room with Max.
