Simon backs up against the wall before ripping the IV from his arm, brandishing the needle in his hand. “Who are you? Where am I? What did you put in me?”
“My name is Ryland Grace. You’re on a ship called The Hail Mary. We got a distress signal and I found you floating in the blood ocean out there. You were really badly injured so we tried to patch you up.” Ryland takes a step towards him but he presses himself further against the wall, holding the needle out to try and defend himself.
“How do I know this isn’t all just a hallucination? That you’re not that monster trying to trick me again?”

While Grace & Rocky are on their way to Erid, The Mary picks up a distress signal from a nearby moon that’s surrounded by darkness. What Grace doesn’t expect to find is a human-like man named Simon floating in the moon's blood-filled ocean.

Summary
Zanka and Jabber did know eachother in the past, but after Zanka joined the cleaners they never saw each other again. Instead, their distance made them slowly forget about their relationship overtime. Slowly, they both start to recall their past and have to confront each other about it.

I really like how some of the fandom just agree that Zanka probably tortured people back when he lived with the Nijiku's and becoming a member of the Hell Guard was his life. It also just gives me a new reason to hate on his family and the Hell Guard as a whole which I also enjoy

The man hovering over him leaned back, releasing Grian completely. Cold night air rushed in to fill the void.
“I guess it’s out in the open now,” the stranger hummed. “Shame. I wanted to avoid this.”
With the additional glow occupying the space between them, Grian was finally able to catch features that were lost in the prior darkness. His curiosity outweighed all else, and he drank them in greedily. As soon as he saw who sat across from him, alarms blared in his mind.
This man wasn’t a civilian, wasn’t even a hero.
“Hello, Doctor,” the villain mused. “You were quite the help today.”
