Summary
Crowley waved his hand. “I’m not talking about something ordinary, like a miracle or a temptation.” He said. “I need you to be certain about this Angel, before I–” Crowley cut himself off. There was no need to get into specifics now. “Just…humor me. You want this? You really want me to show you this?”
“Yes.” Aziraphale said. He had a stubborn set to his jaw that Crowley had come to intimately recognize. “Yes, I think…Yes.”
Crowley experienced an odd sensation, like the planet was momentarily tilting sideways while he remained stationary. Or maybe he was the one tilting? It reminded him briefly of the feeling of watching a galaxy being born.
Crowley gives Aziraphale an important lesson on what it means to be human.

Summary
Excerpt:
There was something about being in his serpent form that made Crowley unusually bold.
Ordinarily, he maintained a healthy ten feet of distance from any situation that might lead to awkward misunderstandings—a habit born of disdain for conflict and the endless trouble it caused. But as a serpent, gliding low to the ground with fluid, animalistic grace, he felt strangely liberated. Almost carefree. A creature of the wild, unburdened by the expectations of angels, demons, or humans.
Aziraphale, of all beings, had noticed the shift. And in all his centuries, he never expected to find such serpentine elegance so utterly captivating.

Summary
Aziraphale and Crowley have been living among humans for 6000 years, but there have always been parts of the human experience they've chosen to avoid (like allergies, head colds, and having to use the loo).
They've also never let hormones get in the way of making rational decisions, because they didn't have any hormones to speak of.
That's all about to change.

Summary
Agitated, Aziraphale keeps walking. “It’s not suffering for suffering’s sake. It’s about goodness in the face of hardship. Coping with extraordinary difficulties while still retaining moral—”
“Purity?”
“—gumption, that is, making the right choices even under duress, or – or, temptation.” Aziraphale smooths his hands down his tunic, dusty yellow in the kick-up of sand on the wind.

(Or: Aziraphale tries to make a point. Crowley, as usual, finds a way to undermine it.)
