Kevin had been Riko's shadow for a decade and as much as he was happy and relieved to be free of him he also felt an empty ache like a chunk of himself had been removed, spliced and severed from him leaving a bloodied gash in its wake. knowing that Riko no longer existed outside of his head made his chest tighten, it wasn't longing but it was a complete dissection from what he felt was possible. Of course he had known that logically Riko was only a man but that didn't change anything really. Riko was still untouched, a figure leaning over Kevin waiting for him to fault.
There were a million things Aaron could say that might actually be productive. That it made him irrationally angry that now even Andrew put him behind someone else, that he felt like Neil had stolen his family, that Neil had shown up and he and Kevin understood each other in a way he never could. That they all didn't hate Aaron because he was difficult or dysfunctional but because of who he was, because they all loved Neil. That somehow Neil never tried at school and his GPA was only .0023 lower than Aaron who killed himself studying. That Andrew was the only thing he might've considered home and Neil took him.
Maybe things change.

Stanley was the commander of one of the best teams in the vampire hunting corps, and he always made sure that he and his teammates emerged victorious from their hunts. However, as winter was about to descend upon them, Stanley and his team received a new assignment: to kill the vampire responsible for hundreds of deaths and disappearances in the last three months. Also known as Xeno.
His expectations for this mission are not very impressive. He would probably kill that monster in the first week and soon everyone would return home, congratulating and praising him as usual. But as time goes by, Stanley realizes that this is not going to be the case.
The encounters with his target are quite intriguing and unusual, and Xeno seems to have a special interest in him that goes far beyond curiosity.

There are many words people use to describe Stanley Snyder. So far, the most common have been reckless, impolite, and unorganized. In Stanley’s humble opinion, he thinks the adults—and maybe a bit of Xeno, as well—might just be caring a little too much about etiquette and not enough about fun.
However, growing up can be hard. As life presents him and Xeno’s friendship with a multitude of challenges including presentations, relationships, and geese, Stanley finds it harder and harder to maintain his tough exterior.

Xeno puffed his chest with Stanley’s acceptance. I either do it willingly or I do it regardless, Stanley mused, watching Xeno turn back around to the chemistry table. He poured the vials into two bottles, placing stoppers in the necks and capping them with precision. Slipping them into his lab coat pocket, two syringes quickly followed, clinking against the glass bottles.

“You could say that,” Xeno remarked, a thick eyebrow raising in question. “I can ask you why you are here instead of in a more…faster paced establishment.”
“Just like you are a little too young for your peers’ joints, I’m a little too old for mine,” Stanley shrugged, turning to place both elbows on the bartop.
“So here we are,” Xeno finished, extending his glass to him.

Summary
Aerion openly moans, though he turns to face away from Dunk. The simple action has Ser Duncan pushing up to look at him, reality too startling for him to continue this.
“Your grace! I-” Dunk stops, taking in the sight of Aerion's bruised and blushing face. Even in the darkness of the woods around them, Aerion seems to glow with his silver hair and pale skin. It makes the imperfections that mar his face stand out. Bruised lids and bleeding cuts decorate him, all because of Dunk. His eyebrows are turned in pleasure, but his eyes are tightly shut. His lips are still a little bloody, but it looks like Aerion had been licking the blood away. As if to prove the assumption a fact, Dunk watches as Aerion’s tongue pokes out to lick at the open wound on his bottom lip. That.. does something to Dunk that he isn’t proud to admit. Still broken, the prince looks like a piece of art.
