Summary
They get closer and Bucky gets a better look at the man, thinks maybe Sam had been expecting an archer in purple instead of a sword-wielder in black. The thing is, he met Hawkeye years ago, at an airport with his bow in hand and his head held high. They hadn’t spoken to each other but Bucky had seen the resolve, the vibrant life streaming from him as he’d given Steve a tight smile and pulled out an arrow.

Summary
Clint likes to bake, and he's slowly starting to trust people around him. Mainly he trusts Phil, and of course he realizes that he's falling in love with him. Which doesn't mean he'll say anything about it. Clint keeps it to himself for years, even as the two men grow closer and closer on a personal level.
I started this with the best intentions of writing something short and sweet - instead I created this 10k+ slow burn. Oh well.

“Then what did you mean?” Clint has pushed his voice back on track, away from the edge. It’s vicious now, he’s well aware. Feels bad for it, but not bad enough. He doesn’t let James talk; not sure he wants to hear any more of what he has to say. Not when it’s all leading to the same thing. “What’s the point in being with a ghost if it doesn’t mean forever?”

Clint knows a thing or two about ghosts. When one has been haunting your farm for a decade, that's just part of the deal. This is how he learns that, at some point, you have to let them go. A story featuring too much banter, a certain ghost being very picky about paint colors, that weird moment of telling your friends you’ve been dating a supernatural being for over a decade, humor, angst, grief, and so so much love.

Seventy-two seconds.
For all the radars and satellites and early warning systems, the Earth had seventy-two seconds between the appearance of the alien ships and the first bomb that hit the ground. Barely over a minute, just enough time to wonder if it was real or reach for the phone. Simultaneously, the sky above eighty-one metropolitan areas brightened and a whistling sound was heard followed by a thump-whoosh-rattle as the device passed through the atmosphere. For most, the shattering of glass and rending of metal was their first indication something was wrong and, by then, it was too late. The dark cylinders slammed into buildings, fell on roads, and smashed onto houses with concussive force, blowing out windows and sending a shock wave hurtling outward.
An alien invasion/post-apocalyptic/end-of-the-world big AU with three pairings: Clint/Coulson, Tony/Bucky, and Natasha/Pepper. The story is told through Clint & Phil's POV but all three pairs have a story arc.

Summary
It’s true, the first time Phil Coulson met Clint Barton, he wasn’t especially impressed. What good was a bow and arrow in the era of AI and satellite precision targeting weapons? A month after Nick recruited him, Phil hadn’t changed his mind. He thought the young archer was brash, rude, and wasn’t going to be a good fit at SHIELD. A year later, Phil wondered if the rate Clint was breaking hearts around SHIELD and disrupting teams made him guilty of sabotage and still hadn’t changed his mind.
He lived in a happy comfortable bubble where Special Agent Clint Barton was an unmitigated disaster and not worthy of his attention for 12 months, 2 weeks, and 3 days.
Falling in love is complicated. Falling out of love with the one person in the world you're head-over-heals in love with and would do anything for is even more complicated. What happens when Omega Dom Phil and Service Alpha Clint fall in love before they learn how to use their words? With enough time (and help from some friends with the best of intentions) can they mend their hearts and figure out how to be friends again or even more?
