Jo plays the role of the lovable showman so naturally that nobody notices how calculated his smiles can be, how observant he becomes when the cameras stop rolling. K, despite his overwhelming popularity and effortless charisma, hides behind a carefully crafted quietness because letting people see the real him feels far too dangerous.

It doesn’t help that Jo never calls him hyung, only K-kun, too close, too familiar, like a line K doesn’t know how to draw anymore. What feels like mockery, like being left behind, might actually be something far worse to face—because Jo isn’t trying to outgrow him at all.
