Summary

And discover some secrets about yourself along the way!
This is a revamped multi-version series depicting the reader as a main character in stranger things with multiple reader pronoun versions available for each book.
I say again. MULTIPLE PRONOUN COPIES AVAILABLE. Same story, different pronouns and romance options depending on your preference/mood: Option 1) Will/Male!Reader, Option 2) Will/GN(they/them)!Reader, and Option 3) El Hopper/F!Reader.
This is a MAJOR rework of my original Cosmic Series which was a Will/F!Reader & was first planned out and started in 2018 (Pre season 3) and has long since been pulling away from Will/F!Reader. Since my mission from the very beginning is as much inclusion as possible, I found myself making different copies as an experiment and just went with it.

Summary
Will returns to Hawkins before the quarantine hits, before Hawkins is sealed off from the rest of the world. He thought Hopper being alive and Jane escaping from the military would be enough to worry about. But his estranged best friend being in a coma after getting his limbs snapped by Vecna, is the cherry on top.

eleven moved around the corner of a collapsed wall, and stopped.
there was a boy was tangled in the vines, half on the ground like he’d fallen straight into their grip but the vines weren’t reacting. they lay slack against him. loose and unmoving, like they were a regular piece of environment.
it was almost like they didn’t know he was there. el’s chest tightened. he looked up at her, wide-eyed, breathing hard, and had fear written all over his face.
he was small. too small. he had dark hair. a dorky bowl cut. clothes clean—but wrong for this place. pajama pants. a white shirt. like he’d only been here for minutes, not years.
“what is this?” he said, voice shaky. “where am i? who are—”
el didn’t answer right away. she just stared, because she knew that face.

Summary
Will forced himself to stop thinking. The Upside Down was closed for good. Eleven had close the gate last year and saved them all. His mother, Jonathan and Nancy had taken the Mind Flayer out of him. There was nothing more connecting him to that place. He was clean. Purged. And those stupid chills he got from time to time in the back of his neck were just his brain messing up with him. It was him not being able to move on from what happened in the past. It was him not being able to grow the fuck up already.
Dustin clapped his hands, the sound echoing in the calm night, making Will snapped out of his thoughts. “We can become heroes, Will. Honest to God American heroes. Like freaking Red dawn or something.”
