Summary
The absence of Caine, unfortunately, makes way for something worse. Out of pure desperation, the gang rescues him from deletion in hopes he can save them from being deleted too.
Caine gets another chance to prove himself, though he's not sure he wants to, and he still doesn’t understand how it all went so wrong in the first place.
Nobody really wants to die here. Nobody really has much of a choice on how to make that happen. And certainly, nobody is really happy with their former tormentor(s).
But…any port in a storm, right? And maybe with a little patience and effort and compassion, they can all learn to just...live.

Summary
Taking place vaguely post series; Caine waits out an itchingly uncomfortable length of time as the humans fufill their promise to keep both sides happy, where he wont have to be alone and they dont have to abandon their lives for the circus.
Though, Caine's cartoon theatrics dont do well when confined to the steel box that is a real life android body - no matter how flexible the plastic his jaws have been made from.
Mechanical dysphoria ends up being the least of their problems though, as the original circus program contained in his core has some... unsettled ghosts that begin to affect his daily judgement.

Summary
A few months after stabilizing the Circus and coming to terms with their permanent life there, the gang agrees to bring Caine back- on the condition that Kinger rewrites his code and removes his power over the world.
Caine awakens to find himself on relatively equal footing with humans for the first time in his life. Can he learn to listen and understand them now that he's no longer bound to his program's original purpose? Will the humans ever be able to truly forgive him for everything he's done to them? Can anything truly change?
Featuring Caine trying human things, found family bonding, and a healthy dose of angst while everyone processes their various traumas and learns to accept this new world they're making together. Or tries to, anyway.

It’s been a few days since The Favorite Character Awards.
Pomni has been through a number of bizarre things during her time in the circus. Candy truck chases, angel head horrors, minimum wage labor, athletic events, gun-filled battle royales. But none of these come close to what she witnesses on a seemingly innocent day full of beach-filled fun: Caine attempting to take his own life.
After managing to stop him, Pomni takes it upon herself (and is borderline forced to by Bubble) to help keep Caine’s mental state intact by engaging in improvised therapy sessions with him. After all, if Caine died, what would happen to the circus? And to the humans that lived within it? This was her only concern at first. But as Caine opens up to her more through these sessions, she realizes just how much the AI is hurting and how long he has been harboring these negative emotions.
Turns out Caine needs more help than she thought.
He's just as trapped in this game as they are. And worse.
