Zombie apocalypse AU. Oneshot: Roach is sent out on a scavenging run and gets bit after it all goes wrong. He spends his last moments listening to his loved ones through a radio in a cramped closet, waiting it out. inspired by the short film 'TURNING POINT' by Joe Penna.
Might turn this into a oneshot book of Roach dying in a zombie apocalypse AU if anyone is interested (jk I'll probably do it anyway, regardless of interest).

“Scraping the database tells us it…appeared one day,” Laswell says. Ghost looks at her in surprise, and she shrugs. “There’s no other data. I think Graves kept his journals physical, and had all the Shadows do the same. There are no logs, no scientific reports, no tests or studies. These two photos and Nox’s distress call are all I have.”
“So…you think it, what? Hatched?”
“That’s exactly what I think.”

Great Horror plot! I would have just loved a little bit more affection between Ghost and Roach but it's not necessary and by any mean takes a thing to the plot. Great great work, real gut flipping too
