Two fingers turned Aric’s view back to his reflection. The chains were deceptively delicate, silver so clean it nearly glowed against his skin. The collar sat sleek around his throat, small enough to seem decorative but snug enough that Aric could feel every breath push against it. The chain trailing down his sternum split the lines of his torso, drawing the eye toward his stomach, then lower--down past the waistband of the shorts where it connected neatly to the belt like a leash disguised as ornamentation.
Cedric leaned his chin onto Aric’s shoulder, the cool weight of him grounding and suffocating all at once. “There he is,” the god murmured, “My most exquisite prize.”
