    Izuku hurriedly kicks off his shoes in the genkan. He doesn’t bother to line them up, even though he knows it bothers his boyfriend when things are out of place. He shrugs off his coat and tosses it, barely getting it on the hook before barreling through the house.

    Katsuki hadn’t told him over the phone what had happened, only that Shouto had been part of a quirk mishap. He’d had to reassure himself the entire drive home that if it had really been something serious, someone would have told him. Instead, Denki had just chuckled in the background and told him to have fun.

    Izuku isn’t having fun.
