The Case of the Man Who Two-Thirds Wasn't There by glisteningceruleaneyes

Summary
Three-and-one-third bodies have been found in an abandoned vehicle on the riverbank.
It would be a challenging case even without the bad weather, weapons smuggling, white nationalists, industrial accidents, and the concept of pedigree dog breeds—but over it all hangs one troubling question: What is it that fascinates you about Kim Kitsuragi? Is it working class camaraderie? A sinister hex of mysterious origin? Did you imprint on him in Martinaise, like an amnesiac duckling? If you don’t figure out what’s going on soon, people are going to start to notice. Especially him.
And sooner or later? Everything is related to the case.

Summary
“Link, what year is it?” He asks again. Link finally snaps.
“2016! Why do you keep asking me that?!” He shouts, now sufficiently pissed off. On top of that, Rhett is just looking at him. He’s looking at him like he does when Link isn’t getting something obvious, like a joke or an answer to a question. It makes Link feel even worse.
“Because, Link…” Rhett trails off, and for some reason he looks like he’s about to cry, “We’re engaged.”Series

Summary
Usually it's brought up with a subtle wink and nudge; fans or interviewers or any number of anonymous internet folk testing the waters, trying to feel out their reactions. But then there are the brazen ones, the people who'll ask them point blank without fear: so are you guys gay or what?
And they've always laughed it off with a wink and a joke. Not yet, they'd say in nearly perfect unison. A denial, but enough wiggle room left over to still keep people wondering. They've been walking a fine edge of what's acceptable as comedy and frowned upon as baiting for what feels like forever, is what it all boils down to. So it's time they finally put this thing to bed.
