There is silence around the table as all eyes move to Aemond once again.
It has been a long time since he has heard that name.
He breathes in deeply through his nose, smoothing his palm over his leg. “That’s impossible. Lucerys Velaryon,” he says the word with as much ire as he can muster, “is dead. I killed him. He has been dead for a year.”

“So it’s like a superpower?” Aaron asks, following the words with his finger. “Like mind control, or mind reading?”
“Yeah, kid, I guess it is.” She pinches his side and he swats her hand away, but smiles up at her when she steps back. “Guess that means we live in a world of superheroes now.”
