Summary
Connor's mildly impatient, has been since he arrived asking for your assistance. Agitation rolls from him in waves.
"Thirium distribution has been irregular," he recounts, an edge of frustration. "The entire rhythm is off, and it's causing decreases in energy efficiency—"
He freezes for several heartbeats. He's done this a couple times since arriving, too.
"—and-lag-in-my-output." Connor's voice speeds without pitching up when he moves again. He seems to catch the error and grits his teeth.
"I already know what's wrong," he says. He'd be pacing if you hadn't instructed him to stay seated. You let him vent, eyes tracking him.
"Right, your regulator's screwy," you agree. You turn in your chair to your computer. "I'll still need to figure out what the specific problem is. Your model doesn't exactly have spare parts mass produced everywhere, so I'll just have to repair what you have."

Summary
“There are certain things that I must accomplish, even if that means risking my life. I may not even have a future to promise to someone.” With a hand over his heart, he apologizes and explains the reason for his actions— deep down, he feels this explanation is more a reminder to himself. Her expression goes neutral anew, accompanied by the ever-silencing patience that she offers.
It’s hard not to find her charming, even within this heartache.
A small chuckle escapes him, “We should head back soon. It’s rude of me to keep you all to myself.”
He steps closer and courteously offers an arm, “Shall we, professor?”
Her expression proves to be difficult to read. Her eyes avert from his for a split second, “My existence as a mercenary made discerning people at first glance a skill of survival.” Byleth says monotone before staring at him, defiantly, “You’re lying, Dimitri.”
--The eve of the ball leaves Dimitri and Byleth with pent up emotions. During a private training drill, everything flows out between them. There are truths that cannot be hidden forever.

Summary
Meeting the three students from the Academy should have been like any other meeting with strangers. Something uneventful with no afterthought. And yet, she can't shake this feeling that she knows them. The one who catches her eyes the longest is Dimitri. An overwhelming feeling of something she can't grasp washes over her each time, and she finds herself becoming the Blue Lions professor in an attempt to scratch that feeling that somehow, in another life, he was someone she had let down.

TL;DR Pre Timeskip Dimileth. F!Byleth is Demisexual. Byleth has 0 experience romantically or sexually and is coming to terms with her new emotions/sexuality. Not a slow burn fic(?) Byleth was just late to the horny party. This is a very specific flavor of Byleth being awkward and nervous about her budding sexuality.
Chapter 1: Byleth speaks to Manuela about a certain dampness issue she's experiencing. A couple of flashbacks to Dimileth moments that are filled with sexual tension.
Chapter 2: Things get a little spicy with Dimitri in Byleth's room until they are interrupted.
Chapter 3: Dimitri's POV, Dimitri x Hand scene.
Chapter 4: Byleth's POV, She's avoiding Dimitri until she understands herself better. Dimitri notices and does something about it.
Chapter 5: Tension is in the air and secret rendezvous between Dimitri and Byleth.
