Lexa sighed down at Clarke on her knees before her, growling through her gag, already practically incandescent with rage.
So ridiculously beautiful … even filthy.
Even furious.
Her blue eyes blazing with hatred … and … cleverness … calculating the situation she was in … figuring out what was happening, the angles, and how she was gonna play it.
Lexa gently removed Clarke’s gag, quietly apologized, and tried to explain the situation to her. And Clarke promptly responded by spitting in her face and screaming obscenities and death threats at her … as the guards hauled her out of the throne room …
