Summary
They'd been caught in each others orbit for some time now and, quite frankly, Clark should have seen this coming. Crazy was part and parcel to Gotham after all... let alone his own life. His father had warned him about mad scientists, but Clark had the distinct feeling that this was not what he'd envisioned in the slightest.

Summary
While Zanka is concerned with getting stronger, constantly putting himself down to pull himself back up again. Jabber's relationship with the Raiders becomes strained.
By a chance meetup they begin an agreement, they spar, for fun and for training, mutual benefit. They get more casual (and in some ways less), it seems no harm no foul, until Jabber is found by the cleaners in a compromising situation, and Zanka unexpectedly finds himself defending Jabber's case.
This circumstance will either bridge gaps or create even greater rifts. The whole time Jabber just wants to forget about his problems and is instead forced to face them head on.This will mostly be an exploration of Jabber by me projecting onto him and also giving him a backstory. This is written before the doll festival arc so I might come back and rewrite if it becomes crazy non canon compliant but whatever.

“‘Buddies’ my ass. You fuckin’ stabbed me! Twice in a row!”
“Awww, if that don’t make us buddies, then I got no idea what we are. Scratch that, just thought of something.”
“And what would that be?” Zanka placed a hand on his hip.
“Lovers! So, what d’ya think? Really defines us perfectly, amirite?”Zanka wished to never see Jabber again, but alas, there was no avoiding the inevitable. He also wished he knew how to dance with someone, because now that he was actually doing it, Zanka realized he had a horrible sense of rhythm.
