Summary
2 months post-lawsuit, Buck is still outcast and ignored, forever Man Behind. Isolated and feeling unwanted, he takes the chief up on an offer, one that will hopefully change how his life is going. He leaves the firehouse one last gift before making his departure, hoping to soften some of the hate he feels aimed his way.
When Eddie finds out, he breaks down, realizing just how badly Buck had been hurt.

The 118 didn’t give Buck the warm welcome he thought they would. Buck does what he normally does and pours his extra time into playing guitar, a guitar he hasn’t touched since leaving the ranch. After a couple video calls and videos of him playing Maddie suggests Buck play an open mic, suited with a costume and a stage name he played and people loved him or they were drunk Buck couldn’t or didn’t want to know which. After may hears about this she wants to play with him, a little help from an old friend of bucks they play another open mic leaning the rest of the team a.k.a Chim and Eddie finding out what he did on his “nights in”
