Summary
“Someone’s close. Do not ente-“
He sees it right before he hears it; the glint of light off a metal sniper scope.
It’s as if a thunderstorm had suddenly rolled in over him. A roaring clap of thunder echoes through the clearing and the hot lightning follows right after, striking him through the neck. His vision goes bright white before the edges fade to black. He hits the ground hard, the air is knocked from his spasming lungs.
He’s panicking, the pain and immediate blood loss turning him into a primal creature hell bent on one thing: survival. If his mind hadn’t been severed from his body, he probably would have been able to appreciate the freeing feeling that came with not having to live in his own head.
He probably also would have recognized the voices calling for him.
He’s still screaming.(Chamber dies on a mission and is forced to come face to face with his biggest fears. Can he learn to grow and open up to his teammates or will he continue to let the past haunt him?

Summary
Vincent had insisted he was fine. He had insisted for days, even as his movements grew slower and more deliberate, even as he reached for painkillers more often than he had in the past two months combined, even as the pain carved deep, bruised shadows beneath his eyes from sleeplessness. Each time Sasha pressed him—softly at first, then with growing urgency—Vincent waved him off with that practiced nonchalance, hiding behind bravado that stretched thinner by the day.

Summary
Sasha slung his bow over his shoulder and drew a knife. The stranger flinched instinctively, recoiling at the flash of steel, and jerking in his bonds. Sasha made a low, gentle noise, the same he would make to soothe a wounded pup into staying still. He slipped the blade beneath the gag, cutting it free.
“You don’t look like a weapon,” Sasha murmured, studying the man’s face. The stranger’s lips twitched upward, exhaustion etched in every line but sharp wit flickering in his eyes. His voice was hoarse but smooth, slipping out like expensive silk.
“Looks deceive.”

Summary
He didn’t just want to be near Sasha—he wanted to disappear into him. To blur at the edges and dissolve into the quiet between Sasha’s breaths. To lose himself in the soft cadence of his presence, to sink until he could no longer tell where his own pulse ended and Sasha’s began. He wanted to press his thoughts against Sasha’s until they overlapped, indistinguishable.
He wanted them to stop being two separate bodies orbiting each other, separated by space and restraint. He wanted something shared. One rhythm. One stillness. One thing.

Summary
“The ancient arcane deities you battle… have you ever found it peculiar how closely they resemble the creatures of the deep?” Namor questions.
Stephen blinked slowly, and gave a small nod, “I have noticed the similarities.” He allowed a wry grin, caught in a memory—only humorous because he was still alive to recall it. “Particularly when ensnared in their tentacles.”
A small twin grin curves Namor’s lips. “Should you ever encounter one you cannot defeat, perhaps I,” emphasis, “could communicate with them for you.” He offers.
“I may take you up on that offer,” his lips quirk up, “Should I manage not to be devoured first.”
Post-mission bruises, a quiet cliffside, and the slow realization that maybe, just maybe, Stephen Strange isn’t as alone as he thought.

Summary
Overwatch can be forgiven for keeping Hanzo at arm's length despite the endorsement of his intended murder victim. Six months of provisional membership, spent in the field, is a reasonable compromise.
But not everyone is on board with giving Hanzo a chance.
Cassidy, least of all.

Summary
“Doc,” she said, her pale eyes flicking back to him. There was a lot unsaid in the beat of silence that followed, apologies and questions and needles. She cleared her throat lightly, “Take care of him. Take care of each other. What comes next is not gentle, not good. I trust you to keep your head. You’re going to need it.”
--
When a careless mistake lands them in quarantine, it's not the disease that's their biggest problem - it's each other.

This is LITERALLY one of my most favorite fanfics ever. The drama, the passion, the characterization, I am LIVING for this.
