Summary
There, on the visible skin of Jayce’s chest and upper torso, were words.
Scrawled in stark, dark lines— smeared slightly by the water, some barely noticeable on the spots where the fabric of his shirt wasn’t as translucent, but unmistakably, was writing.
Jagged, almost frantic script in some places, clumsy and shaky in others.The air in Viktor’s lungs suddenly felt too thin. His mind raced as he blinked once, twice, thinking it might be some bizarre trick of the light.
But no— the words were there.
Mutt. Whore. Slut.
Or, Jayce wants to be degraded. Viktor has a (momentary) crisis about it.

“So you won’t take me because I’ll, what — see people fucking? Get offered drugs?”
“Jayce…” Viktor warns, more to himself than to the other man. He can feel his already slippery grip on the situation weakening.
“C’mon, V. I’ll be good, I promise! I’ll keep my hands to myself, I won’t take candy from strangers, and if it’s too much, we can leave.”
Jayce keeping his hands to himself is not the thing he was worried about. It’s everybody else who wouldn’t be able to keep their hands away from him. They descend on topsiders like piranhas when presented with the opportunity. Their naïveté precedes them. Viktor has seen men and women undone by hands and tongues in mere minutes, and they’re not too keen on stopping before they’ve had more than their fill.
It’s so lawless, even for the undercity, that the only way to assure Jayce’s sanctity would be to put him in a fucking tag.
…Now there’s a thought.

In which the only way for Viktor to keep Jayce safe from the greedy hands and mouths of Zaunite clubs is to put him in a collar and claim ownership. However fake (or real) it may be.

Summary
Jayce comes home from class to find his roommate standing in front of the stove. Unusual, since he never sees Viktor in the kitchen unless it’s 3 AM the night before a big exam, and he’s eating handfuls of shredded cheese right out of the bag. Today, he’s in the kitchen, standing before a pot and stirring a wooden spoon around in lazy circles. Not just any pot, but the Le Creuset enameled cast iron Dutch oven Jayce’s mother gave him for Christmas last year.

Summary
Jayce finds himself in a dilemma. Multiple dilemmas, actually.
Someone is stalking his lover. Someone is leaving love notes, gifts, sex toys, and lewd suggestions in Viktor’s office, his work bag, and his desk.
What’s worse is that Viktor assumes they’re all from Jayce—earnest efforts to be romantic and to spice up their sex life.
Even worse?
Jayce takes full credit.
