Varka considers it. Truly, he does. He thinks about his personal finances, about the scolding he’ll get from Jean for spending such exorbitant amounts of Mora. He thinks about Rosaria and Razor, then about Flins, then about all of them together, sitting in a loose circle by Varka’s side and drinking some sort of cider, perhaps playing that card game he keeps hearing so much about.

In the end, he sighs, then reaches into his pocket, grasping a wallet that would scream if it had a mouth.Or: Desperate to make sure introducing his partner to his children goes smoothly, Varka purchases yet another guide from Dori. Flins’s eyes slide closed for a moment as he processes Illuga’s words. Finally, he answers. “I’m sorry.” He mouths. The wheezing sounds that escape him coming straight from his lungs when he tries to talk stab Illuga in the gut.
